1. Introduction
Amplitap, operated by CHARSTAR LIMITED, is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, and exploitation in any form. This policy outlines our commitment to ensuring that our business operations and supply chains are free from such practices.
2. Our Business
Amplitap is a UK-based brand providing NFC-enabled smart review cards and digital engagement tools to businesses. While our operations are based in the UK, some of our products are sourced from international suppliers, including manufacturers outside of the UK and EU.
3. Our Commitment
We are committed to:
Acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings.
Implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our supply chains.
Conducting reasonable due diligence when working with third-party suppliers and manufacturers, especially those based in higher-risk countries.
4. Supply Chain Responsibility
We expect all of our suppliers and business partners to share our values. We aim to:
Work only with reputable suppliers who operate in compliance with local laws and international labour standards.
Reserve the right to terminate relationships with any supplier or partner who fails to comply with this policy.
5. Risk Management and Due Diligence
While Amplitap is not legally required to publish a modern slavery statement under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (as we do not meet the £36 million turnover threshold), we are voluntarily adopting this policy as part of our ethical business strategy.
We will:
Keep our internal team aware of potential risks in supply chains.
Request evidence of anti-slavery practices from high-risk suppliers.
Avoid sourcing from vendors with a history of unethical labour practices.
6. Training and Awareness
Although we are a small team, we are committed to educating ourselves and any staff or agents we work with about the risks of modern slavery. We will keep our practices under review as our business scales.
7. Reporting Concerns
Anyone who becomes aware of or suspects any instance of slavery or human trafficking connected to our business or supply chain is encouraged to report it confidentially by contacting our support team at Support@amplitap.com.
8. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or in response to significant changes in the business or its supply chain.
